A Brillante Weblog Award!
I have been most graciously awarded this blog award

Not only was I surprised at receiving an award designated for “interesting, happy and with sparkling style blogs” (that’s mine!!) but I received it on my birthday, of all days. Well I only have one birthday a year so it was rather cool to say the least.
Here are the rules for the next recipients of the Brillante Weblog Premio 2008 Award, established in 2005:
l. The award may be displayed on a winner’s blog.

I wanted to thank you for the award. I took me by surprise, and took me a couple of days to pass it on. How do you possibly choose?

Thank you for ordering from my Etsy store. I thought it might be you and so checked your profile and saw something about Vernon Ct. Your order came on a day when I was questioning my purpose and whether I was “wasting my time” (sounds like an old parental tape). Please let me know what you think of the Bay Rum. I am shipping it today.
As for the award, what do I do if the people I gave it to are not displaying it and don’t seem to care, or don’t want to pass it on? Some were thrilled, others blase. Interesting. I’d like your ideas about this.

You’re so very welcome. I tend to listen to that “inner voice” and I just felt the desire to do something to benefit you, and when I saw your store I got quite excited over your homemade products! So we both benefit!
As far as people responding to their award, I have 2 folks who did not respond, who knows maybe they just didn’t see the comment or were too busy or it’s too time consuming or they don’t care, whatever. My joy is in the giving and they can choose the to do what they wish. Wherever they’re at, that’s where they are and that’s OK with me!
