The Whole Truth About Weight Loss
The Whole Truth About Weight Loss
Before we get into this, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am 51 years old and a mother of 7 kids. I am 5’ 3” slim and athletic and about 108 pounds. Now I’m not bragging here, just letting you know that I do know a thing or two about maintaining a healthy weight, even after having a bunch of kids.
The first thing that you need to understand is that most of what you’ve heard about weight loss is bogus. You are just not going to hear the truth, unless you really dig. The truth is not profitable.
Forget the food pyramid, its recommendations of 6 to 11 servings of REFINED carbohydrates is designed to make you fat. This is obvious, as the obesity epidemic came into full swing shortly after the food pyramid “guide” was thrust upon the public, as well as the push to use fake fats, fake sugars, fake foods (see a connection?) and the perfection of the feedlot.
I am not going to go into too many details, otherwise this post will easily become a book, but I will recommend books that you can read to substantiate my facts. Also, please don’t use the cop-out that your genes are making you fat. Your genes are merely dumb storage facilities that do very little to influence your health. This is GREAT news as otherwise you’d be helpless to do anything about your health, or your weight, which, of course, isn’t true at all. You can read the book The Biology Of Belief: Unleashing The Power Of Consciousness, Matter And Miracles A few other points of interest: the only two species in ALL of nature that become fat are HUMANS AND THEIR DOMESTIC PETS.
That should give you a little clue as to what makes you fat, it sure isn’t a natural, wholesome diet of raw foods! First, here’s all the stuff that makes you fat:
1) SODA and SUGAR Soda contains lots of sugar, usually in the form of High Fructose Corn Syrup All sugars cause a rapid rise in blood glucose, however fructose converts to fat more than any other sugar. To compensate for the rapid rise in blood sugar, your pancreas secretes the hormone insulin into your bloodstream, which lowers your blood sugar and also makes you hungry. Insulin is essentially a storage hormone that helps you store the excess calories from carbohydrates in the form of fat in case of famine. Then, your fat cells produce a hormone called leptin, which regulates how much you eat (by reducing hunger) and how much fat you burn. Over time, if your body is exposed to too much leptin, it will become resistant to it (just as your body can become resistant to insulin). When you become leptin-resistant, your body can no longer hear the messages telling it to stop eating and burn fat — so it remains hungry and stores more fat. Most of it ends up being stored in your abdomen, including your internal organs, such as your liver. This further disrupts your liver’s ability to hear other signals, such as those from insulin. Your liver, therefore, begins to manufacture too much sugar from protein, contributing to the onset of diabetes, and a vicious cycle is set in full motion. High insulin levels that develop as a result of drinking soda (or eating sugar and refined carbs) suppress two other important hormones–glucagon and growth hormone—both are responsible for burning fat and sugar and promoting muscle development. SUGAR MAKES YOU FAT READ Sugar Blues
2)Artificially sweetened stuff, like soda. Low-cal products, such as diet sodas, do NOT help you lose weight! This is a complete myth. In fact, more than a decade ago studies were already revealing that artificial sweeteners can:
-
- Stimulate your appetite
- Increase carbohydrate cravings
- Stimulate fat storage and weight gain
All the way back in 1986, the American Cancer Society documented the fact that persons using artificial sweeteners gain more weight than those who avoid them. Both Aspartame and sucralose can poison your body. Read all about artificial sweeteners in- Sweet Deception: Why Splenda, NutraSweet, and the FDA May Be Hazardous to Your Health ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS MAKE YOU FAT, AND SICK
3) MSG Food manufacturers use the taste enhancer MSG to trick your brain into thinking their sugar-laden, empty calorie, highly processed, refined carbohydrate “food” tastes good, when actually it tastes like crap. MSG is also highly addictive. MSG acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain by facilitating the transmission of information from neuron to neuron. It is referred to as an “excitotoxin” because it “excites”, or stimulates the neural cells to death. So while they’re doing their job of making your brain think the food actually tastes good they’re also killing brain cells! And you become addicted to the insulin-spiking garbage as well! Unfortunately, many food manufacturers hide the fact that their products contain MSG, making it more difficult for you to avoid it. They may list ingredients like these instead (which still contain MSG):
-
- Gelatin
- Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (HVP)
- Yeast Extract
- Malted Barley
- Rice Syrup or Brown Rice Syrup
I recommend you watch this informative video and also read Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills by Dr. Russell Blaylock, a board-certified neurosurgeon if you want more information . MSG IN REFINED FOODS MAKES YOU FAT
4) Caffeine including SODA that contains caffeine. Minutes after you drink coffee, soda, or anything containing caffeine, the caffeine begins to stimulate your central nervous system, triggering the release of stress hormones in your body, causing a stress (”fight or flight”) response which causes low blood sugar, mood and energy swings, fatigue, depression, malnutrition, and disturbed sleep. One of these stress hormones is cortisol. One of the functions of cortisol is to stimulate glucose production. Excess glucose is then used for fat production. Thus, exposure to cortisol leads to weight gain, as your appetite and insulin levels are continuously increased. If stress and cortisol levels stay high, so will insulin levels, and you already read what increased insulin levels can do. CAFFEINE MAKES YOU FAT, STRESSED AND TIRED Read Caffeine Blues: Wake Up to the Hidden Dangers of America’s #1 Drug
5) Poor Nutrition The fact is that if you eat refined food you can NOT get the nutrition that you need. Refined food is: Dead, cooked, pasteurized, hydrolyzed, hydrogenated, homogenized and otherwise fooled-with stuff made in a factory that has chemicals and preservatives and has had all life-giving nutrition sucked out of it by removing the good stuff. You know, like white flour, with the bran and germ of the wheat removed. Guess what? When they take out all the good stuff and then process it with all kinds of bizarre technology it isn’t FOOD anymore and it lacks the nutrients that you need. And don’t get me going about “fortified” with artificial “vitamins” that can’t even keep a lab rat alive. That will be another post. Processed foods, upon which most Americans spend 90 percent of their food money, are a great source of HFCS, along with very few nutrients. Eating a diet based on processed foods is guaranteed to make you pack on the pounds because if you are not getting the nutrients that your body so desperately needs, you will always have cravings and feel hungry.
REFINED, ARTIFICIALLY ALTERED FOODS FILLED WITH CHEMICALS MAKE YOU FAT, SICK AND TIRED read: The great nutrition robbery or Nutrition and Physical Degeneration
6) Corn and potatoes. Why do they feed CORN to cows? To FATTEN THEM UP. Since their natural diet is grass, they pay a price for this, and so do you. Yes, another post coming up. Potatoes are assimilated much like refined carbs, they cause insulin levels to spike. Remember what happens then?
7) Other Stuff Exposure to environmental pollutants from pesticides, dyes, flavorings, perfumes, plastics, resins, and solvents. Exposure to even small levels may make you put on weight. This is an excellent book on that topic: Our Stolen Future: Are We Threatening Our Fertility, Intelligence, and Survival?–A Scientific Detective Story Taking certain medications, including antipsychotics, high blood pressure drugs, protease inhibitors to treat HIV and diabetes medications, including insulin. Even over-the-counter antihistamines have been linked to weight gain. There are numerous other theories out there, some of which are very plausible. A common virus, the human adenovirus-36 (Ad-36) — a cause of respiratory infections and pinkeye — may be a contributing factor to obesity, as may the makeup of good and bad bacteria in your gut. Hypothyroidism can cause weight gain, the most common symptoms are:
| Weight gain | Puffy face |
| Loss or thinning of eyebrows | Cold intolerance |
| Low sex drive | Depression |
| Abdominal bloating | Cold hands or feet |
| Dry or thinning hair Thickening of the skin | Joint or muscle pain |
| Thin, brittle fingernails |
And of course the emotional factor I doubt anyone will debate the emotional connection many of us have with food. Often this starts in childhood with your parents giving you sweets as a reward. This then translates into adulthood where we “treat” ourselves by indulging in “comforting” junk foods. Hypnosis has long been recognized as a scientifically proven method of helping you to achieve your goals in all kinds of ways. ? It?s long been considered one of the best ways to quit smoking, for example. In recent years an increasing number of people have turned to hypnosis for other help as well ? and they?’ve found that this is a great way to lose weight and, most importantly, to make sure that the weight stays off. Lose weight with hypnosis, CLICK HERE What about FAT? Fat does not make you fat. It makes you feel good, and full. It’s yummy and I eat lots of it. It’s great stuff. Problem is, if you eat the wrong kind it will cause all kinds of inflammation including arthritis, and damage your heart. This too is another post coming soon but I’ll give you some pointers: Good fat: All animal fat (meat and dairy) from GRASS-FED animals, coconut oil, palm oil, avocados, raw nuts and seeds. Some olive oil is OK. Eggs from happy chickens (carousing in the sun pecking at bugs) are awesome. Bad fat: All refined vegetable oil (salad dressing etc…) except small amounts of virgin olive oil and cold pressed flax oil. All animal fat (meat and dairy) from corn-fed feedlot animals (that’s all animal products in the grocery store usually), eggs from unhappy chickens (jammed together in tiny cages, sick and dying, lying in manure, eating food not created by nature, fed antibiotics). And the absolute King of Bad Fats: Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil. Hydrogenated oils will not only kill you in the long term by producing diseases like multiple sclerosis and allergies that lead to arthritis, but in the meantime they will make you fat! This is because your body desperately needs fat for its survival, but if it’s getting hydrogenated oils instead of the good Essential Fatty Acids that it needs, you will always be hungry. Malnutrition makes you hungry. Read: The Great Cholesterol Con: The Truth About What Really Causes Heart Disease and How to Avoid It Of course you need to exercise! Clearly, you need to get moving to be healthy and slim. The problem here is that people who consume sugar, caffeine, MSG, refined foods, and bad fats have no energy to exercise. So you have to change your diet first, and then get moving. I know plenty of people who are athletes and get plenty of exercise, yet they’re still fat. Why? Sugar, caffeine, msg, refined foods, poor quality fats, poor diet. Everyone is not the same, some people need more fat and protein while others need more carbohydrates (NOT from refined foods). You can only figure this out if you use metabolic typing, you can get more information here: The Metabolic Typing Program (Discover the perfect diet for your metabolism)
You need to supplement your diet. Even if you eat all organic whole foods you cannot get all the nutrition you need every day. For one thing, nobody has a perfect diet unless they eat only their own food and have a year-round organic garden and orchard, free roaming chickens and a cow. Remember, malnutrition makes you fat because it makes you constantly crave food I take JuicePlus (a whole, raw fruit and veggie supplement). Also on the JuicePlus site (under “other” products you will find: Juice Plus+ Thins® is a healthful, whole food based snack. These specially formulated chewable wafers contain a carefully balanced blend of soluble and insoluble dietary fibers that help reduce hunger – without the use of any stimulants or drugs. You can get JuicePlus by clicking here. I also take Essential Fatty Acids, Spirulina, and Chlorella (algae). Also Cod Liver Oil whenever I can’t get out in the sun. Sometimes I also take supplements such as chicken cartilage, green-lipped muscle extract, to keep my joints healthy and flexible. OK, so what’s left to eat? Go to Find the best prices on 100% grass-fed Black Angus Beef
and get some real meat, go to a health food store and get real organic butter, get real eggs, plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, and SOME whole grain snacks. Drink pure, filtered or spring water, herb teas, and WHOLE raw milk. There is no need to count calories or make a big deal of this. I easily lost 15-20 pounds after each pregnancy without putting any effort into it. Just eliminate the stuff that makes you (and everybody else) fat, get some exercise, and do NOT stuff yourself before you go to bed, you should be slightly hungry. Very important though is to eat a good, filling breakfast or two. Yep, TWO. I have my protein drink every morning with raw eggs and raw milk and a banana, then later have a nice filling breakfast of eggs and bacon (from grass-fed cows with NO nitrates), raw cheese, and maybe some brown rice puffs or toast with a bit of raw honey. Once you get used to it, there’s plenty of stuff that you can eat.
What you’ve just read about weight loss is based of facts, not ficticious “scientific” studies created by some slick ad company to promote their client’s health-destroying junk food. You can read Trust Us We’re Experts: How Industry Manipulates Science and Gambles with Your Future to learn more about how you are being duped into buying products that make you fat and destroy your health, but generate a HUGE income for the corporations that manufacture them.
A word about weight-loss pills: It really doesn’t make sense to take pills that have all kinds of disastrous side-effects while continuing to eat devitalized junk that is designed to make you fat. A diet that is causing you to gain weight is also DESTROYING YOUR HEALTH. Pills might work for a little while, but you’ll gain back even more when you stop taking them, and you have to stop taking them because they cause so much damage. There is no other way than to change your thoughts, beliefs, and emotional triggers, and change your diet. By the way, once you start eating REAL food, the other stuff tastes awful! It takes a few months to get to this point but you’ll be surprised at how bad refined food tastes! I used to love sugary junk food years ago, but now I couldn’t bring myself to eat most of it, just smells bad and tastes bad!

If you want to buy real estate, you will have to get the loans. Moreover, my father commonly takes a financial loan, which occurs to be really rapid.
